Meet Suu-kyi

Meet Suu-kyi, an 8 year old Burmese cat who presented to the clinic for a cystotomy (surgical removal of a bladder stone) with Dr Geoff Wilson. Suu-kyi had symptoms of constipation before being bought into the clinic, and an Xray was performed to confirm that bladder stones were the cause. The surgery successfully removed 4 stones, which were sent of to the Minnesota Urolith Centre for evaluation. It was confirmed that these were calcium oxalate stones, as a preventative, Suu-kyi is now on a diet consisting of Hills Prescription C/D to prevent this.
