Meet Our Team
Dr Jason Tait

Jason graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004. As a graduate Vet he worked in a small and large animal practice in Gatton.  During this time Jason met his now wife Megan, who is also a vet.  Jason and Megan are proud pet parents to Smeagle the Cornish Rex, Buddy a Labrador cross and Rocky an American Bulldog.

Jason is passionate about the health and happiness of his patients and aims to treat every patient how he expects his own pets to be treated.

Dr Natasha Alexander
Vet Surgeon

Natasha graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor in Veterinary Science (Honours) in 2014 and joined the MyVet team in early 2015. Prior to completing her degree, Natasha spent several years volunteering in the RSPCA vet clinic. Natasha has a keen interest in internal medicine, particularly oncology, but doesn’t mind the occasional soft tissue surgery.

It is rare to find Natasha without her little baby girl, Kyla, nearby. When not at work or travelling Natasha finds herself kept busy looking after her Border Collie, Lexington, and her menagerie of felines, Tiger, Monkey and Clicky.

Ann Jenkins
Practice Manager

Ann is a New Zealander and patriotic ‘Silver Fern’. She commenced her nursing career in 2004 in Wellington and immigrated to Australia in 2007.  Ann has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2014. Ann is married to fellow ‘Kiwi’ Lance and together has a teenage daughter named Casey.  Her English Cocker Spaniel, Khan is a personable little fellow who battles each summer with skin allergies.  The furry felines of the house are not without their troubles either.  Leonidas the Birman and Suu-kyi the Burmese are particularly fond of ingesting any clothing they can get their little paws on.

Jessica Rayner
Vet Nurse

Jessica began her career in Veterinary Nursing in 2012 and has loved every minute of it, pursuing her Certificate in Veterinary Nursing and growing with the clinic. She has a mischievous mini Foxy X Blue Heeler named Jeffery who is always up to no good, and a sweet little Kelpie X named Beauty who is a little bit off with the fairies most of the time.

Jessica and her partner Jeremy live happily with their fur-babies.....unless there are lawnmowers about!

Vet Nurse

Ashlee commenced her career in 2015 and she has loved every second of it. Since starting at MyVet, Ashlee has been pursuing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and is growing with the clinic.

At home, Ashlee has an 8 year-old rescue Kelpie, Bundy; a 5 year-old German shepherd, Bella; and a 1 year-old domestic short hair named Max. In Ashlee’s spare time she likes to skydive and motorbike ride.

Melanie McMahon
Pet Groomer

Melanie comes to us with 4 years professional grooming experience in Australia, as well as over 10 years salon experience from Canada.  Her grooming skills include breed standard clips as well as many pet trim styles. Training in the different coat types has resulted in her exhibiting confidence and trust of adequate required grooming needs for each coat type. Education and knowledge are key factors for providing clients and their pets with appropriate service for a caring and enjoyable grooming experience.
